Wiring Solutions

Society has used electricity for more than 100 years. During this time a variety of codes and regulations were developed to make the use of electricity safe. The most widely known and recognized of these is the National Electric Code.

During the last 20 years, society has become more dependent on microprocessor-based equipment such as personal computers, fax machines, and remote controlled televisions. This type of equipment is very sensitive to the electrical power serving it, and power quality problems may have catastrophic results. While the NEC provides a method to service this equipment safely, simply following "code" will not ensure the equipment operates properly.

Often, the power quality problems found inside facilities are the result of, or made worse by, wiring errors. Correcting these errors will at least improve the overall situation, and may resolve it.
